Job Title: Service & Parts Coordinator – Government Services
Reports To: Site Manager

SUMMARY
This combined role is responsible for service coordinator, parts procurement, physical inventory management, and direct coordination with customer drivers and operators for vehicle and equipment service and repair. The incumbent interfaces with technicians and vendors and serves as a frontline point of contact for government fleet customers, ensuring compliance, cost control, and service quality across all functions.
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Pay range: $27.00-31.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Parts & Inventory Management
Purchase parts and services and maintain accurate inventory records.
Utilize client-provided PeopleSoft/Hub software to purchase, track, and properly assign parts to repair orders.
Negotiate with vendors for the best possible pricing and service terms.
Maintain accurate parts Min/Max levels, manage re-order forms, and reduce obsolete inventory.
Coordinate and complete quarterly physical inventories.
Work with Office Clerks on proper invoice entry and vendor credits.
Pick up parts at vendor locations when required.
Service Writing & Customer Coordination
Greet customer drivers and operators in a professional and friendly manner.
Coordinate units and equipment requiring service and repair by interacting directly with customer drivers and operators.
Communicate vehicle and equipment service needs to shop personnel using the company FMIS and verbal/written communication.
Interact with technicians to ensure compliance with part assignment to repair orders and stocking decisions.
Perform other duties as required by the Site Manager or Senior Operations Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including fleet management information systems. Prior experience in parts management, fleet services, or a related field preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license required.
Will be required to complete VTI Parts Specialist in first 90 days
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must be able to perform work at a computer for extended periods and move freely about the workplace. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
