Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions company, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Shop Foreman, day shift to join our team in the Mount Pleasant, SC area.  If you have at least five years of proven Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Foreman experience or have graduated from a Trade School for MechanicsVector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! 

 

CDL “A or B” is REQUIRED! 

 

Compensation:Competitive salary pay – paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $70,000-80,000 per year depending on experience & certifications!

 

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CDL is REQUIRED
  • Shop Foreman should have a minimum of five years hands-on experience
  • Experience in managing multiple technicians in a shop environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to absorb and learn FMIS system
  • Proven track record as a self-starter and adherence to company policies
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and operational level
  • Must have the ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on Heavy Duty Diesel equipment.
  • Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
  • Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
  • Shop Foreman with OEM training, Emergency Vehicle Training and ASE certifications are preferred

Working Conditions:

 

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Ability to move and position heavy objects
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
