Shop Foreman

Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions company, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Shop Foreman, day shift to join our team in the Mount Pleasant, SC area.  If you have at least five years of proven Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Foreman experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL “A or B” is REQUIRED!

• High school diploma or GED
• CDL is REQUIRED
• Shop Foreman should have a minimum of five years hands-on experience
• Experience in managing multiple technicians in a shop environment
• Working knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to absorb and learn FMIS system
• Proven track record as a self-starter and adherence to company policies
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and operational level
• Must have the ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on Heavy Duty Diesel equipment.
• Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
• Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
• Shop Foreman with OEM training, Emergency Vehicle Training and ASE certifications are preferred
