We are currently accepting applications for qualified Firetruck Technician to support our customer’s fleet located in the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County, FL area.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - PAID EVERY FRIDAY! $30.00-40.00/hr depending on experience!

Shift: M-F, 6:30am - 3pm

Qualifications/Requirements

• EVT Certification required - must be willing to get it within 6 months of hire, if you do not currently have an EVT
• 2+ years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances
• Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
• Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
• ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
• Trade School Certificates a plus
• Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
• Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
